Why Are We Like A Chocolate Chip Cookie?

A chocolate chip cookie takes time to bake
Like that cookie, we needed time to prepare for this journey from your interview, orientation meetings, to the reality of being in the British Isles.
Most cookies are round with a few bumps here and there,
We too had a few bumps that we were able to iron out by talking openly with each other.
Chocolate chip cookies are not all the same; some are small, some large, some flat, some broken,
I suppose we could fit into one of those categories, couldn’t we?
Chocolate chip cookies are adored by everyone,
Just as each of you are adored by Joanna, Lucy, John, and me!
Sometimes if cookies remain uneaten, they grow green mold,
Hum… is it true that green mold can grow on a face while telling a ghost story!??
Chocolate chip cookies have an amazing flavor,
Each of you has your own personality which has added to make an interesting flavor of this delegation.
Some chocolate chip cookies come with nuts,
And, yes, we have some of those, too!
When people eat a chocolate chip cookie, often praises are sung out,
And we too sang on the London tube and in St. Anne’s Hospital! Praises were given!
Chocolate chip cookies are enjoyed most when packed together,
Like us, together, we are one awesome delegation!
